Progress
The structures this year will be fabricated using laser cut pieces done at the College of Environment Design's ENV Lab. The lab is located in Building 3-1644. In addition to laser cutting, their services include printing and 3D printing. More information is available on their Facebook page. #Construction
Website Up and Running
EERI CPP's new website will be the best place to find information about the club. Here you will find out where meetings are located, speakers, work times, the competition, sponsorship, contact info and how to become a member. This site will be updated regularly so that you won't miss a thing! #Updates

The Materials Have Arrived
The balsa wood sheets have been delivered. Laser cutting will proceed soon. With all the columns nearly complete, it looks like we are on track to finish the test structures by the end of the quarter. #Construction

THANK YOU! Guest Speaker Carlos McEniry
Carlos McEniry gave a wonderful presentation about his Research for Engineering Undergraduates (REU) experience. He spoke about low cost seismic isolators and increased building stiffness to prevent damage to residential homes. He encourages younger students to follow his example and branch out to do exciting research off campus. If you are interested in doing this and have any questions, Carlos's email is carlos.mceniry@railpros.com. #GeneralMeeting
